Tisanes Tearooms

I loves a good cream tea. However due to the unseasonably warmish weather I elected for a Fanta instead of a pot of tea. Tisanes in Broadway was the venue. Attentive staff and a cosy back garden (albeit laid with AstroTurf, which negates the natural Cotswold environment!).

The fruit scones had obviously been popular as there were none left, so just the plain scone, clotted cream and jam for a very reasonable £3.20 (Fanta was £2.10 for a can). The scone was served slightly warm, which is a positive, and while it was slightly moist it still didn't give me the wow factor. Jam could have been from anywhere, and the cream could have been slightly more clotted once again. However a nice interval between my visits to Evesham and Broadway.

Overall experience 7/10 — mainly due to the value rather than the product. Might return if in the area (as beautiful as Broadway is, probably no need to go again!).
